Atlassian Audit and Performance Monitoring
Keep Your Atlassian Environment Stable, Secure and Maintainable
Even a well-configured Atlassian environment changes over time. New apps are added, workflows become more complex, roles multiply and security or maintenance tasks are postponed. Over time, this reduces clarity, affects performance and increases operational risk.
We carry out a structured Atlassian audit to restore visibility, improve performance and strengthen security across your Jira and Confluence environment. Where needed, we also help resolve the issues found during the audit and optimise the setup.
Estimated scope: 40 to 60 hours depending on product usage, complexity and number of apps
What the audit helps you control
Roles and permissions
Review whether access rights, groups and roles are still clear, necessary and aligned with the way the organisation works today.
Apps and integrations
Assess whether Marketplace apps and integrations are still needed, secure and technically stable.
Configuration quality
Identify complexity in workflows, fields, schemes and settings that slows the system down or makes administration harder.
Security and maintenance
Check patch levels, update routines and environment hygiene to reduce avoidable risk.
Performance and stability
Spot bottlenecks that affect speed, reliability and day-to-day usability across Jira and Confluence.
Why regular monitoring matters
Established System Ownership
Regular audits prevent role fragmentation. By consistently reviewing permissions and responsibilities, you maintain a transparent structure that is easy to manage as your organization scales.
Optimized App Ecosystem
Eliminate the hidden costs of "app bloat." Identifying unused or outdated tools reduces unnecessary complexity and ensures your budget is spent only on high-value integrations.
Hardened Security Posture
Stay ahead of vulnerabilities. Continuous oversight ensures that patches, access levels, and third-party components never fall behind, significantly reducing your attack surface.
Peak Performance & Stability
True efficiency comes from refinement, not more tools. By stripping away redundant configurations and optimizing existing setups, you ensure a faster, more stable environment for every user.
How we conduct the audit
Cloud environment review
We analyse the structure and settings of your Jira and Confluence Cloud environment. This includes workflows, custom fields, apps, user accounts, groups, roles and the overall configuration quality. The goal is to identify where the setup has become harder to manage than it needs to be.
App and integration analysis
We assess Marketplace apps and integrations from both performance and security perspectives. This includes update status, policy fit, bottlenecks, log-related issues and the overall stability of connected systems. The goal is to make sure apps support the environment instead of slowing it down.
Data Center configuration and application review
For Data Center environments, we review the Jira and Confluence configuration in the same way, but also examine the application layer itself. This includes technical parameters, security update status, infrastructure bottlenecks and the performance of key system components.
Recovery readiness and scaling options
Where needed, we help prepare backup and recovery planning and assess whether the current architecture still fits the organisation’s needs. If scaling or higher availability is required, we can also support decisions around cluster architecture, environment separation and load distribution.
What we typically review
Configuration and permissions
Workflows, custom fields, schemes, users, groups, roles and permission logic across Jira and Confluence.
Apps and integrations
Marketplace apps, update status, stability, security fit and the effect of integrations on performance and maintenance.
Infrastructure and resilience
For Data Center and self-managed environments, the application layer, technical parameters, bottlenecks and recovery readiness.
When this service is needed
The system has been extended gradually and nobody has reviewed the full setup in a while.
Users notice that the environment feels slower, harder to manage or less predictable than before.
The organisation wants better control over updates, access, apps and operational risk.
